About PFI

History
PFI is a privately held corporation and was founded in 1989 with the primary focus on custom made to order PTFE machined products, primarily for the oil field. After the first year in operation, a downturn in the energy sector prompted the organization to diversify into other industries and new types of manufactured products. PFI has focused on improving efficiency and quality through the acquisition and development of new processes, software, machine tools and personnel. Today, PFI has the capabilities to produce molded PTFE shapes, thermally formed PTFE diaphragms and machine a diverse array of products on sophisticated 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centers and turning centers.
Over the past two decades, PFI has developed, prototyped, and produced a wide variety of custom plastic components for many industries, including:
- Biomedical
- Chemical
- Food and Beverage
- Medical
- OEM Industrial and Commercial Machinery
- Petrochemical
- Pharmaceutical
- Semiconductor
- Sporting Goods and Recreational
