August 2010, Houston, TX - Precision Fluorocarbon Inc. has acquired a large diameter CNC lathe capable of turning up to 103” diameter plastic parts. This machine is equipped with a programmable turret and full 2 axis motion allowing it to machine complex seals and shapes. Seals offered are spring energized lip and face seals, back-up rings, gaskets and other shapes. Parts can be machined from virgin PTFE and PTFE compounds as well as UHMW, NYLON, DELRON, PEEK, POLYPROPYLENE and other plastics materials.
