Whether you need one piece or a large-volume production run, PFI can assist you by recommending the best plastic materials for your application. As part of our services, we have over 40 years' experience and knowledge in engineered, high performance plastics, as well as hands-on expertise about the performance characteristics and properties of various plastic resins, plastic compounds, and filler materials. Here at PFI, we work closely with you to match the best material to the application, which is a critical first step in the plastic molding and plastic machining process.

An integral part of PFI's services is our sophisticated computer network control system, which allows us to develop your quote, enter your order, and then track – via a sophisticated barcode system - the movement and progress through fabrication and production, quality control and final inspection, to the shipment of your product. Another feature of our computerized quoting system is that it assists the PFI design and engineering staff in the selection of the exact size mold for your finished custom plastic component; the system also contains all the details of production, quality control records, and the source for all materials used to produce your custom plastic part. Our control system allows us to retain full traceability of the entire material selection and production process, for both quality control and repeat order purposes.

In addition to our full line of services – plastic molding and plastic machining – PFI takes part in rigorous plastic component testing, and is also ISO Compliant in all phases of its engineering, design, production, quality control and inspection processes. While we do provide extensive PTFE molding and plastic machining, we are not a plastic injection molding shop.
